How It Works

Develop your RAW photos to JPG in three steps

STEP 1

Upload RAW Files

Drop your RAW camera files onto the upload area. Supported formats: Canon CR2/CR3, Nikon NEF, Sony ARW, Adobe DNG, Olympus ORF, Panasonic RW2, Fuji RAF, and many more. Free plan supports up to 10 files at 500 MB total (RAW files are large).

STEP 2

Set Development Options

Choose JPEG quality, white balance (use "As shot" to match your camera's WB setting, or override for creative effect), and exposure adjustment (useful for correcting underexposed or overexposed shots by ±2 EV). Advanced options let you set colour space and output resolution.

STEP 3

Download JPEG Photos

Get high-quality JPEG photos developed from your RAW files. JPEGs are immediately shareable on social media, via email, or for web publishing — without needing Lightroom, Photoshop, or any dedicated RAW processing software. Multiple files download as a ZIP.

RAW to JPG Features

Develop camera RAW files to shareable JPEGs in seconds

Wide RAW Format Support

Supports the most common camera RAW formats: Canon CR2 (all DSLR and mirrorless Rebels, 5D, 6D, 7D, R5, R6 and more), Canon CR3 (newer mirrorless), Nikon NEF (all Nikon DSLRs and Z-series), Sony ARW (A7, A9, ZV series), Adobe DNG (universal), Olympus/OM System ORF, Panasonic RW2, Fuji RAF, and Samsung SRW.

White Balance Control

"As shot" uses the white balance temperature and tint stored in the RAW file's EXIF metadata — the same WB the camera applied when the photo was taken. Override to standard presets (Daylight 5500K, Cloudy 6500K, Tungsten 3200K) to warm or cool the image. Pro mode adds custom Kelvin temperature input.

Exposure Adjustment

Adjust exposure by ±2 EV in 1-stop increments. +1 EV doubles the apparent brightness (equivalent to opening the aperture one stop or doubling the shutter speed). Use this to quickly correct shots that were slightly underexposed (common with spot metering) or overexposed. Applied during RAW development before any JPEG compression.

Full RAW Demosaicing

RAW files store raw sensor data as a Bayer colour filter array — each pixel records only one colour (R, G, or B). Demosaicing reconstructs a full-colour image from the Bayer data using bilinear or AHD interpolation. This tool performs a full demosaic with anti-aliasing, preserving fine edge detail and avoiding colour fringing artefacts.

EXIF Metadata Preserved

Camera EXIF metadata (camera make/model, lens, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, GPS coordinates, capture date/time) is copied from the RAW file to the JPEG output. This keeps your photos searchable by date and location in photo management software like Apple Photos, Google Photos, Lightroom, and Flickr.

100% Private & Secure

All uploads use TLS 1.3 encryption. Files are processed in isolated server containers and permanently deleted within 24 hours. No watermarks are added. We never view, index, or share your files. No account is required.

Frequently Asked Questions

A RAW file is the unprocessed sensor data captured directly by your camera before any in-camera processing is applied. It contains vastly more tonal information than a JPEG — RAW files capture 12 or 14 bits per channel (4,096 to 16,384 tonal levels) vs JPEG's 8 bits (256 levels). RAW files are ideal for professional editing, but they require special software to open and cannot be shared directly on social media or via email. Converting to JPG makes the photo instantly shareable on any platform.

Supported formats include: Canon CR2 and CR3; Nikon NEF; Sony ARW; Adobe DNG (used by Leica, Hasselblad, and as an export format from most cameras); Olympus/OM System ORF; Panasonic RW2; Fujifilm RAF; Samsung SRW; Pentax PEF; Minolta/early Sony MRW; Sigma X3F; Hasselblad 3FR. If your format is not listed, try converting to DNG first using Adobe DNG Converter (free), then upload the DNG.

The "As shot" white balance will match the camera's preview. Exposure and colour rendering may differ slightly from the camera's JPEG because each manufacturer uses proprietary tone curves, sharpening, and noise reduction algorithms in their in-camera JPEG engine. This tool uses standard RAW development algorithms that aim for neutral, accurate rendering rather than manufacturer-specific "looks". For the exact camera JPEG look, use the JPEG files your camera produces alongside RAW files.

Free plan supports ±2 EV adjustment in 1-stop increments. 1 EV is equivalent to doubling or halving the light — significant enough to fix most exposure errors. RAW files hold far more recoverable shadow and highlight detail than JPEGs, so a ±2 EV correction applied to a RAW file typically looks clean. The same correction applied to a JPEG would introduce banding and noise. Pro mode adds fine-grained 0.1 EV adjustment and a full tone curve editor.

Use sRGB for social media, web publishing, email, and general sharing — it is the standard colour space for screens and is correctly displayed by all browsers and devices. Use Adobe RGB only if you are delivering the JPG to a professional printer or print lab that is colour-managed and specifically requests Adobe RGB. Adobe RGB JPEGs displayed without a colour-managed viewer (most web browsers without ICC profile support) will look desaturated.
