Body Measurements Converter Features
Combined ft + in
Most height tools force you to enter inches as a decimal. We give you separate feet and inches inputs that update both directions.
Waist & Chest
For circumference measurements (waist, chest, hips, biceps, neck) we use a simple bidirectional cm ↔ in converter — type in either box.
Auto Round
Cm and feet/inch update with sensible precision: 2 decimal places for cm, the nearest 0.1 inch for the inch component.
Fitness & Medical
Useful for medical records, fitness apps that switch units, online clothing forms that ask for cm vs in.
Live Conversion
Edit either side and the other updates instantly. No swap button needed.
100% Private
All math runs in your browser. Body measurements stay on your device.

Frequently Asked Questions
Multiply cm by 0.3937 to get total inches, then divide by 12. The integer is feet; the remainder is inches. Example: 170 cm × 0.3937 = 66.93 in = 5 ft 6.93 in. The tool does this for you.
Because 1 inch = 2.54 cm exactly, but a height like "5 ft 7 in" = 170.18 cm — there is no clean rounding. Most people round to either 170 cm or 5 ft 7 in and accept ~1 cm of error.
Health authorities suggest waist < half your height. So someone 170 cm (67 in) tall should aim for waist < 85 cm (33 in). This is a guideline; consult a doctor for personalized advice.
Yes — chest is around the fullest part, waist is at the narrowest (above belly button), hips at the widest. Always use a soft tape and measure over light clothing for fashion, or skin for fitness.
Weight is a separate dimension — see our Weight Converter for kg ↔ lb. This page focuses on length-based body measurements.
